Lightweight and highly portable, tablet computers are made to be carried wherever you go. They're multifunctional, serving as Web browser, e-book reader, digital picture viewer, movie viewer, and music player. All we tested have a webcam, and most have a 7- to 10-inch screen and weigh from just under a pound to about 1.5 pound
Here's a collection of the highest-rated tablets from CNET editors.
Apple iPad 2 (16GB, Wi-Fi, black)
The iPad 2 refines an already excellent product. Its easy-to-use interface, vast app catalog, and marathon battery life bolster Apple's claim to being the king of tablets.

The Asus Transformer Prime is the best full-featured Android tablet yet, with a sexy design, thoughtful features, and an impressive camera.
